Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication

How to set up 2FA for new and existing accounts.

Written by Jezz Haigh

To enhance security of the SUBTV system, we have rolled out mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) for all accounts. Authentication can be completed using a authentication app (eg. Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator), or via a mobile phone number.

Adding 2FA for existing accounts

Step 1. Go to SUBTV Manager or SUBTV Panel and enter current email address and password.

Step 2. Create a new password for the account.

Step 3. Open email inbox and click the link to verify your email address (hint. If email doesn't arrive check your spam folder just in case).

Step 4. Return to Manager/Panel and set up 2FA via authenticator app or mobile number.

Step 5. Login using username and new password, you will then have to enter a verification code from your chosen 2FA method.
