As you may be aware now, we have recently updated your system to improve switching reliability. Please be aware of the following:
Switching from Subtv to Live TV:
At the top right hand side of the page you will notice 'Subtv' with a plug icon beside it
Click on 'Subtv' and it will provide you with a drop down bar
Click on 'Live TV' and you will notice the 'Now Playing' Bar disappear
Live TV will now be playing on your screens
To return back to 'Subtv', repeat the same steps to revert back to our schedule
The 'Now Playing' bar will reappear
Switch Monitoring
Please ensure staff only switch via SUBTV PANEL, otherwise we cannot monitor the switch status and more easily diagnose issues remotely. Please note: should staff change the physical switching inputs using the rack mounted hardware in our cabinet, the system will automatically switch back to the last input.
Ad Schedule:
One noteworthy change is our ads schedule. When switching from Subtv to live tv, Subtv ads may now play out before live tv starts playing and vice versa. Please contact us if you have any issues when switching from the 2 various inputs.
System Restart:
Our software will automatically revert to the SUBTV input, when the system is restarted. Please note: A daily morning reboot is standard to ensure SUBTV is resumed each morning.
