As a simple solution to 'Have you tried switching it off and on again', we have created a restart function that you can directly use from your venue.

How does it work?

By restarting your system, you will be taking it back to square one. Instead of going in with a hammer and trying to hit the player, or pulling every wire to find the right cable, our basic function of rebooting the system is usually the answer to your problems.

Naturally, any technical equipment needs to be rebooted once in a while and we are giving you the opportunity to do so, rather than you working through all the scenarios before the classic 'turn it off and on again' works out.

Follow the step-by-step guide below in order restart your system successfully:

  1. Log in: First log in using your SUBTV credentials to get access to the player you would like to restart.

2. Restart the system: Once you have logged in, you will be taken to this page, in which you are required to Restart the system by clicking the button presented on screen. Please ensure you are connected to the right player before restarting.

3. Click 'Restart the system': A pop-up will appear to inform you that the player is being restarted in your venue.

4. Panel Inactive: Once you have restarted the system, your panel will become inactive. One way to indicate this is that the 'Now Playing' bar along the bottom will be removed from your panel and the queue page will be blank.

5. Player Offline: The panel will appear with this message, in which the player is offline and restarting. Do not worry, your player should be up and running in a couple of minutes.

6. Player Online: Here, your player will appear back online and your queue page, now playing bar and screens should all appear with SUBTV on.
